Still, But Gone — Personal Project
With the language of music videos in mind, my proposal for this look was to build a cold atmosphere capable of visually translating the character’s isolation and sadness. The intention was for this temperature to spread across the scene and influence how space is perceived, creating an image that feels emotionally distant and aligned with her current state.
Desaturation was also applied carefully, reducing the image’s vitality to emphasize the sense of emptiness that defines her feeling. The goal was not to strip the frame of its beauty, but to guide it into a more restrained place, where color still exists, though weakened, as if the image itself reflects that loss of strength.
Pensando na linguagem do videoclipe, minha proposta com esse look foi construir uma atmosfera fria capaz de traduzir visualmente o isolamento e a tristeza da personagem. A intenção foi fazer com que essa temperatura se espalhasse pela cena e influenciasse a forma como o espaço é percebido, criando uma imagem emocionalmente mais distante e coerente com o momento vivido por ela.
A dessaturação também foi aplicada com cuidado, reduzindo a vitalidade da imagem para acentuar a sensação de esvaziamento que marca o sentimento dela. A ideia não era retirar por completo a beleza do quadro, mas levá-la a um lugar mais contido, em que as cores ainda permanecem, embora enfraquecidas, como se a própria imagem acompanhasse essa perda de vigor.
