Where Time Slows — Personal Project
The idea behind building this look came from the natural color nuances of the sky and the sea. I asked myself: if there’s anything capable of conveying the sense of peace and contemplation this video calls for, it’s them. So why not start right there? What kind of sky and sea carry the feeling of serenity that the image is searching for?
From that point, I approached saturation with care without overdoing it, but also without draining the scene of its vitality. It became a path toward something calmer and more comfortable.
I also deepened the image density and paired it with a soft contrast, aiming for a balance between presence and lightness.
The environment is the true protagonist. A space where time seems to slow down, observed from a distance, while life continues to unfold with meaning, day after day.
A ideia pra construir esse look nasceu das próprias nuances de cor que o céu e o mar oferecem. Me perguntei, se existe algo capaz de transmitir a paz e a contemplação que esse vídeo pede, com certeza são eles. Então, por que não começar justamente por aí? Que tipo de céu e de mar carregam essa sensação de serenidade que a imagem busca?
A partir disso, trabalhei a saturação com cautela, sem exagerar, mas também sem apagar a cena e tirar sua vitalidade. Foi um caminho para chegar em algo mais calmo e confortável.
Também aprofundei a densidade da imagem e combinei isso com um contraste suave, buscando um equilíbrio entre presença e leveza.
O ambiente é o protagonista. Um espaço onde o tempo parece desacelerar, observado de fora, enquanto a vida segue acontecendo com sentido, dia após dia.
